During my career, I have developed exemplary capabilities in the areas of safety, organizational abilities, and professionalism. I relate well to my peers, supervisors, and customers, and I display competence in all of my endeavors. Regarding my qualifications, I have gained over twenty-five years of experience as a professional driver in the oil field business, where I also worked for eleven years supervising truck and trailer rigs.
For the past 10 years I have coordinated rig moves nationally and internationally, supervising all aspects of the rig move project, involving the evaluation / estimate, and then organizing all logistics of the projects whether it be documentation, manpower, or equipment. I have also been involved in training personnel for my clients and supervising these crews throughout the project ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.
My International rig-moving experience encompasses areas such as Venezuala and Gabon, West Africa.
I have a fundamental knowledge of the dynamics of the oil and gas industry, and I have supervised rig moves of all types of drilling rigs under all conditions, nationally and internationally. For the past few years I have gained extensive experience with I am a qualified Journeyman mobile and tower crane operator, and I have experience operating heavy equipment in the mining industry. I have high standards and my expertise in decision making, as well as my problem solving, communication skills, and awareness of safety issues and concerns, allow for guaranteed success in the oil and gas industry. I have also had the opportunity to be involved with designing equipment to assist with moving oilfield equipment. I am a qualified Journeyman crane operator, have my Class 1 driver's license, and I have demonstrated exceptional capabilities in safety. I have completed my certification in H2S Alive training, First Aid and CPR, IRP 16 training, WHMIS, and Dangerous Goods. I also have experience with welding, winches, and I am naturally mechanically inclined.

In my thirty-plus years in the oilfield industry, I have been involved with numerous projects, including transportation, gas plant construction, and operation of off-road equipment. This also includes my work with the supervision and coordination of the Pan Canadian Project, which consisted of over 800 shallow gas holes.
Through these projects, I have gained considerable experience with cranes, bed trucks, gin poles, and multi-wheeled trailer combinations. I have been responsible for the supervision and coordination of rig moves of all types, and in all types of severe weather and geographical conditions.

I have gained much experience in a variety of International locations, moving rigs in the desert using rolling skid gear, as well a working over two years in the middle east.
I have a proven ability to plan, direct, and coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution activities in accordance with any policies and requirements.
Some of my past experiences include: organization and supervision surrounding all aspects of drilling, transportation, personnel, and equipment; budgeting, payroll, inventory, and company bidding; customer relations and liaison between oil companies and drilling contractors; operation of bed trucks, pole trucks, tractors, boom trucks, and utilization of various multiple wheel combinations; and mobilization and demobilization of single, double, triple, and crane rigs ranging from 550 h.p. to 3000 h.p.
I possess a thorough knowledge of drilling rigs and service equipment, as I am a Journeyman Crane & Hoisting Equipment (boom truck) Operator, and I can work effectively under pressure while maintaining all safety policies.
I am efficient in supervising staff and all transportation operations, and I am certified to train and assess new personnel for field operations. I am a certified Class 1 & 3 Alberta Infrastructure Instructor, and a Course Instructor in Cargo Securement, Logbooks, and C.V.S.A. out of service criteria and preventative maintenance. I am also a Certified Competency Assessor for swampers, boom trucks, winch tractors, and multi-wheels. My first aid, CPR, H2S Alive, WHMIS, and TDG training are all current and up-to-date.
